Maison Pence (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides strategic brand architecture, design consulting, and related services through this website and other digital platforms. Your use of this site signifies your agreement to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, design elements, templates, documents, and other materials — is the intellectual property of Maison Pence or its licensors and is protected under U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws.
You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, or use any portion of this site’s content without prior written permission.

Structural Brand Architecture™ is a proprietary framework owned by Maison Pence and may not be reproduced, adapted, or used in any commercial capacity without express authorization.

Service Engagements

All Maison Pence services are offered by proposal or contract only. The scope, deliverables, timeline, and payment terms for each engagement will be defined in a written agreement before work begins.

  • Deposits or retainers are non-refundable once project work has commenced.

  • Final deliverables are released upon receipt of full payment.

  • Any requested changes beyond the agreed scope will be billed at Maison Pence’s standard hourly rate or a mutually approved rate.

  • We reserve the right to postpone or cancel projects if payment deadlines are missed.

Digital Products

Any digital templates, guides, or downloadable materials purchased through our website or affiliated platforms (such as Etsy, Gumroad, or other online shops) are for personal or business use only.


You may not resell, redistribute, or reproduce these materials for commercial gain.

Refunds for digital products are not available once files have been downloaded or accessed.

Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality for all client materials, brand strategies, and proprietary data shared during engagements.  You agree to do the same for any methodologies, templates, or frameworks provided by Maison Pence.  Both parties agree not to disclose confidential information to any third party without prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability

Maison Pence shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use this website or its services.  While we take care to provide accurate, high-quality strategy and creative work, final implementation and outcomes are the responsibility of the client.

Third-Party Links

This website may contain links to third-party sites. Maison Pence is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of those external sites. Accessing linked websites is at your own risk.

Payment & Billing

All fees are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified. Payments are accepted via approved methods outlined in your proposal or invoice.  Late payments may incur a 5% monthly interest charge or project pause until the balance is paid in full.

Cancellation & Termination

Either party may terminate a project agreement with written notice.
In such cases:

  • Work completed up to the termination date will be invoiced.

  • Deposits remain non-refundable.

  • Maison Pence retains ownership of all drafts, working files, and intellectual property until the project is paid in full.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.  Any disputes shall be handled through mediation or arbitration in Guilford County, North Carolina, unless otherwise mutually agreed.

Revisions to These Terms

Maison Pence reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be posted on this page with the effective date.
